Meditation

Meditation practice promotes relaxation, builds internal energy or life force (also referred to as qi, ki or prana) and is used to develop compassion, love, patience, generosity and forgiveness. It has a calming effect on the mind and directs awareness inwards, allowing one to be in the moment.

 

Meditation has a positive impact on our mental and physical well-being. There is growing evidence that Meditation in the workplace can improve productivity and decrease sickness absence. Increasingly employers are looking to benefit from its effect on workplace wellbeing. Learning to manage thoughts and feelings through meditation reduces the chances of ill health. Regular meditation practice increases the body's ability to heal and facilitate the tendency towards happiness, relaxation, and emotional balance.

 

 

Practicing Meditation has several health benefits. It helps with:

There are different techniques of meditation practice i.e. meditation using breath, while sitting, standing, in action, creative or insight meditation depending upon ones need at that particular time.
